Kikkoman Takumi Teriyaki Sauce Label

  KIKKOMAN Sales USA, Inc. has redesigned its popular Teriyaki TAKUMI sauce series with the addition of a new flavor, Gochujang Spicy Miso. GKDI was responsible for the packaging design of this rich, artisanal all-purpose sauce, which is ideal for seasoning, dipping, braising, teriyaki, and stir-frying, and can be served on the grill, stovetop, broiler, or oven. GKDI was in charge of designing the packaging for the new product, which was designed to be more intuitive and simple. The “TAKUMI” logo and vivid colors were harmonized to create a sense of quality and appeal that would not be lost on product shelves. >> KikkomanUSA.com  

Food Pouch

 

This design emphasizes the steamed process with its expanding text design. Package coloring differentiates contents while maintaining a consistent graphic arrangement to create a brand relationship.

Japanese Noodles

 

Our proposal features vertical and horizontal layouts. The flowing wave graphic creates a soft feel to the package and serves as an icon for the product; the wave graphic also identifies with Japanese cultural art.  The series of packages are unified by a common layout with key colors for identification.

Tea packaging

  This design communicates an organic sensibility through the use of its brown paper bag coloring and the simple silk screen style graphic. Bold text has a modern style and provides contrast to the softer illustrations.

Liquor Packaging

 

This design communicates a modern dynamic image and emphasizes the products sophistication. The thin monochrome graphic shows the purity of the contents while remaining bold enough to be easily legible. .

Jelly Container

 

This traditional style design evokes a handcrafted product. The highlighting of the brand name, symmetrical layout and muted coloring create a charming and high quality feel.
